Do I need a partner to use Pregnants?

Accepted Answer

No. Pregnants supports solo TTC and solo pregnancy just as fully as couple mode. Partner linking is entirely optional and can be added or removed at any time from Profile → Couple link.

Which mode should I choose: TTC, Pregnancy, Postpartum, or Partner?

Accepted Answer

Choose TTC if you are trying to conceive, Pregnancy if you are currently pregnant, Postpartum if you have recently given birth, and Partner if you are supporting someone who is. You can switch modes later from Profile; for example, TTC users move to Pregnancy mode when they get a positive test, and Pregnancy users move to Postpartum mode after giving birth.

How does the Wellness Scan work?

The Wellness Scan uses remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) on your phone camera to derive heart rate, heart-rate variability, respiration rate, and a stress score from tiny color changes in your skin. No. The Wellness Scan is exactly that: a wellness feature, not a medical device. The biomarkers are educational and are not a substitute for a clinical measurement or the advice of a qualified healthcare professional.

What does the in-app AI coach do?

Accepted Answer

The AI coach answers questions about your cycle, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, or partner journey, generates daily prescriptions tailored to your mode, and summarizes trends across your biomarkers. It is powered by third-party artificial intelligence technology through our backend; your API key is never exposed on the device.

Is the AI coach a substitute for a doctor or midwife?

No. The AI coach provides general information and personalized coaching, but nothing it says is medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions, and in an emergency call your local emergency number.

How does partner linking work?

Accepted Answer

One person generates a 6-digit code in Profile → Couple link and shares it with their partner, who enters it during onboarding. The two accounts are then linked and share the specific fields shown on the linking screen. Either partner can revoke the link at any time.

Is Pregnants free, and what does a subscription cost?

Accepted Answer

Pregnants has a free membership, and a paid subscription that unlocks the rest of the app. The available plans, their prices and their billing periods are shown in the app before you subscribe, and are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play according to your device.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

Cancel at any time from your store's subscription settings: on iOS, Apple ID → Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our full policy at /terms.

How do I delete my account and my data?

You can delete your account from Profile → Delete account inside the app, or by emailing privacy@pregnants.com with the subject "Delete my account". Deletion cascades across all account, health, Wellness Scan, AI conversation, and partner-link data. We respond within 30 days per GDPR Article 17.

Does Pregnants work offline?

You can browse content you have already opened and log entries offline; they sync the next time you have connectivity. The AI coach, Wellness Scan biomarker computation, and partner-shared updates require a network connection.
